After surprising the world with the unexpected release of Nokia 6 early this year, HMD Global took to MWC 2017 to launch the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5. While all three smartphones are slated to released in Q2, launch details of Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 have been scarce.
But now, HMD Global has confirmed the release date of its Nokia-branded Android smartphones for 120 markets.
The company told NokiaPowerUser that it will be launching the entire lineup of smartphones in the second quarter in almost 120 markets at the same time. “HMD has ambitious plans to release Nokia 3, 5 and 6 in 120 markets at same time in Q2 2017.
This is ambitious because HMD is de facto a start-up, though it has support from Nokia and Foxconn,” the company said in a statement.

From the official Nokia Mobile Twitter account, the company tweeted, “We’re aiming to release worldwide in Q2 2017 (April – June) at an affordable price and great quality.” Nokia 6 was released in January in China, and HMD further unveiled the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 at MWC last month.
Early this year HMD Global launched a flagship smartphone Nokia 6, the first ever Android smartphone by Nokia in China. The Result was outstanding as it was the big hit in China smartphone market and Nokia 6 leaves everyone behind. Smartphone has shattered some records as well.
The Company received the record number of pre-orders within few hours of its launch and the first batch was sold in few seconds. After the breakdown of Nokia windows smartphones, the company was unable to stand in the global market as Android is being used by more than eighty percent users.
Nokia phones relaunch
A few months back Independent Finnish Company HMD Global, which uses the Nokia name for its phones, relaunched the Nokia smartphones with the Android operating system in new way and design.
After Nokia 6 HMD Global launched its two more Android smartphones named Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 along with snake master Nokia 3310 at the event MWC 2017. These phones are already launched in few regions and yet to be released in many regions including Pakistan and India.
Recently, the day before an official team of HMD global was on a visit to Pakistan. Mr. Per Ekman, Vice President for the Middle East and North Africa region met Mr. Rizwan Majeed the CEO of Advance Telecom (Official distributor partner of Nokia Phones in Pakistan). In the meeting, they cut the cake marked by the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and legendary Nokia 3310 and welcomed the Nokia Android smartphones in Pakistan.
